Nearly 260,000 children live in households headed by grandparents or other relatives.

More than 84,000 grandparents/kinship caregivers are responsible for meeting the basic needs of their grandchildren.

Grandparents and other relative guardians/caregivers offer children stability and permanency by keeping them loved, safe, and in surroundings familiar to them.

*New & Existing Grand & Kinship Families can register in our new system. To receive an identification number please bring proper documents with you to GSU's Denis' Pantry during operating hours. (All dates/hours & accepted documents can be found on the pantry page)
