Pastor Mike Emge, from the Llanerch Hills Chapel in Havertown, has graciously offered us space! I was asked to write a proposal for the church and because I was so redirected with the untimely passing of my brother to the Covid 19 virus I completely forgot! I sat up at 2am the morning of April 20th and wrote a short email from my heart regarding a short story of why I felt the need to stand tall to assist Grand Families and I needed space to do it. After speaking with the church's board, Pastor Mike called me and said I could meet with him at the church.
When we went to the Church we met with Pastor Mike and one of his board members. We realized that our ministries to assist others were quite parallel! So needing space has turned into GSU breathing new life into a church and we are so grateful to have Pastor Mike and his church find GSU a home in Delaware County!
We collectively have become a new grand resource for all of Delco! GSU will certainly serve every grand family that comes to us for assistance and we can also extend this good will to others struggling in Delco as well.
I want to personally thank Pastor Mike Emge and the entire Llanerch Hills Chapel board for entrusting us with this space and know that we look forward to bringing much limelight and sharing of good will to this endeavor.
